Jan Håfström – Lookbook
A Day's March collaborates with renowned artist Jan Håfström for a limited edition collection.
To the artist, Mr. Walker represents a complex set of influences, part alter ego, part father figure, but also a symbol for creativity and the arts. Mr Walker is the civilian alias of The Phantom, a comic hero created by Lee Falk in 1936, that had a strong impact on the artist as a child. The skull is a symbol connected to Mr Walker, aka The Phantom. It is worn by the character on his ring and leaves a permanent mark upon villains struck by the hero. Skulls are a recurring motive in Håfström's work and represet the balance between hope and death.
