Harris Tweed for A Day’s March
Harris Tweed has been woven in the Outer Hebrides for generations, and it’s easy to understand why.
Made for weather, wear and a long life, it is sturdy, textured and full of character, with colours and patterns inspired by the landscape it comes from.
For us, the interesting part was what happens when you take something so rooted in tradition and use it in an updated context.
Rather than making a blazer or any traditionally tailored piece, we made an overshirt. A simpler, more contemporary shape, designed for everyday wear.
The result brings together two things we value: the history and function of a remarkable fabric, and the kind of garment you can wear without thinking too much about it.
Two versions, for men and women, both made to get better with time.
