Womenswear Designer

At A Day's March HQ, Stockholm

We are looking for an experienced and creative Womenswear Designer who can elevate and evolve the A Days´s March brand aesthetic while supporting the overall brand direction. The Womenswear Designer will be responsible for two annual collections with all product categories included.

Role Responsibilities

- In collaboration with the creative director and menswear designer set the direction, colors and key trends for the season
- Drive the creative collection process from draft, through production to finished product
- Plan, design and develop new products (including fabrics and colors) based on the seasonal collection plan
- Evaluate and refine existing styles
- Continuously keep track of market trends and make competitor analysis
- Plan and set the overall plan and number of products together with head of production and buying
- Create artworks and tech packs - including technical sketch, m-lists and style instructions with quality, trim and color references
- Create and regularly update collection overviews (InDesign/Illustrator) with all relevant information
- Together with the team, work with our suppliers on sourcing and product development
- Take an active part in assortment-/collection meetings together with the production and buying team
- Support the marketing team with overviews and relevant collection information needed for e-com, campaigns and all other content
- Create and communicate seasonal concept and key looks to all teams
- In all areas, support the company’s needs to secure selling, continuous growth and profitability

Your profile

- An education in fashion design with preferred focus on womenswear
- Experience from working as a womenswear designer in a similar position
- Ability to deliver concept and designs in line with the A Day’s March brand core aesthetics
- Strong interest in fashion and current trends
- High research, conceptual and creative skills with a detailed understanding of a collection creation process
- Experienced knowledge and high understanding of product, construction, fit and material properties
- Excellent knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Strong organizational and communicational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- High level of commitment and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Excellent team player with a flexible mindset and prestigeless attitude
- 3D experience (CLO user) is a plus

As a sales associate at A Day’s March you're responsible for maintaining the standard of the store, delivering a positive customer experience and a variety of operational duties assigned by the store manager. We would also love to see that you are a multitasking professional, have no problems with working well under pressure and have a genuine interest in the brand.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales services
- Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on products
- Meet sales goals

What you'll bring to the table

- Experience in retail and personal sales
- Enthusiastic and passionate about people and fashion
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
